Just a few short decades ago this section of Plano, Texas was comprised of farmland and cattle ranches. Around 1980, Ross Perot and his team started the development of Legacy with the theme of "Superior Infrastructure - Maximum Flexibility". The iconic Electronic Data Systems (EDS) building was the first to be built and shortly thereafter, the JC Penney and Frito Lay campuses. This was the start of the Legacy community.
After 40 years, Legacy continues to offer "Superior Infrastructure - Maximum Flexibility" and is now home to numerous corporate campuses and organizations including Capital One, Children’s Health, Toyota North America, JP Morgan Chase, Ericsson, Liberty Mutual, FedEx Office, Bank of America, Pizza Hut, Intuit, McAfee and many others. Legacy features urban-style living and is the destination for delicious dining and superb shopping. With the vision, enthusiasm and determination of its over 130 Property Owners, Legacy has become a world-class business park and an exciting place to work, live and play. Legacy is a community with spirit.
